Star Nursery is recruiting for the position of:
Local Class A CDL Double Van Driver - Transporting Plants & Live Material - Loading & Unloading material to locations
We are seeking a Class A CDL Double Van Driver to join our team!
You will be responsible for safely operating a truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW).
-Previous driving/hauling/delivery experience is required. (2 year minimum)
-Exceptional customer service skills mandatory for position
-Must have the ability to consistently lift, push, pull, and/or carry 50 pounds.
-Position is primarily day shift Tuesday - Saturday, however must be able to work varying shifts as needed
-Position requires the ability to work in all weather conditions, including extremes
-This position does require entering and exiting the vehicle throughout the day
-The ability to communicate effectively in Occupational English, written & oral, is required
-A commercial driver’s license is REQUIRED to be considered for this position. A doubles endorsement is also required.
