Era Living is seeking a full-time Nurse (LPN/RN) to become the newest member of our Community Health team located in our University House Wallingford Community, Seattle, WA.

Available shifts will be scheduled Friday - Tuesday between 9:00am and 5:30pm.

Primary Responsibilities:
The Community Health Nurse will contribute to the assessment of residents, implement health care services and collaborate with the Community Health Director to provide health promotion and monitoring of residents.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

\n
• Ability to provide resident and family education
\n
• Ability to schedule tasks effectively to meet strict deadlines and within allotted time
\n
• Ability to maintain resident confidentiality to assure all rights are protected
\n
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English; Excellent interpersonal skills
\n
• Computer proficiency
\n
• Ability to pass DSHS background check, required
\n

Education and Experience:

\n
• WA State RN or LPN.
\n
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working with older adults; nursing experience in an assisted living facility preferred.
\n
• Must be able to complete Modified Fundamentals of Caregiving
\n
• Must complete Caregiver Mental Health and Dementia specialty training
\n
• Must have current CPR certificate
\n
