In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining various types of cranes for construction and material handling operations.Operate mobile cranes, tower cranes, and other lifting equipment safely and efficientlyPerform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checksCalculate load weights and ensure proper rigging techniquesFollow all safety protocols and OSHA regulationsCommunicate effectively with ground crews and other construction team membersInterpret and follow lift plans and project specificationsMaintain accurate logs of operations and safety checksMonitor weather conditions that may impact crane operationsReport any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediatelyQualificationsValid NCCCO (National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators) certificationValid CDL driver's license 2-3 years of proven experience operating various types of cranesHigh school diploma or equivalentCurrent OSHA safety certificationsStrong understanding of load calculations and rigging proceduresExcellent spatial awareness and hand-eye coordinationProven safety record and attention to detailPhysical ability to climb, lift, and perform equipment inspectionsStrong communication skills and ability to work as part of a teamKnowledge of construction industry practices and terminologyExperience maintaining operation logs and safety recordsAdditional InformationWork Environment & Physical DemandsThe characteristics described below are representative of those encountered while performing the essential functions of this position.
