Paid Internship Position Available Through Careersource Capital Region

Job duties:

• Sanitation: food safety kills in all aspects of the kitchen
• Knife Skills: care of knives and basic knife cuts
• Meat Preparation: basics of identifying, preparation and storage
• Fruit and Vegetables: basics of identifying, preparation and storage
• Presentation: applying finishes to meals for residents
• Certification: achieving CFPM or Food Handler certification
• Active Listening: full ability to concentrate on what is being instructed
• Culinary Math: portion control to maintain consistency in production, and to compute food cost.
