Director of Business Development Janitorial services of New York
As a Director of Business Development, you will be a strategic force, driving significant growth and expanding our market presence within the janitorial services sector. You will leverage your extensive industry expertise and proven track record of success to identify and secure high-value contracts with major commercial clients. Your leadership will be crucial in developing innovative solutions, cultivating strong client relationships, and ensuring our position as the preferred provider of building maintenance and cleaning services.
Key Responsibilities:
* New Business Development: Identifying and targeting potential clients who require building maintenance and janitorial services.
* Client Relationship Management: Building and nurturing long-term relationships with clients to ensure their satisfaction and explore opportunities for expanding service offerings.
* Strategic Planning: Developing and executing strategies to increase the company's market share and overall growth. This might involve analyzing market trends, researching competition, and developing innovative solutions.
* Sales Process Management: Managing the sales process, from initial contact and qualification to closing deals and transitioning new accounts to the operations team.
* Team Collaboration: Working closely with internal teams, such as operations and sales support, to ensure smooth service delivery and client satisfaction.
* Market Research: Staying informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
* Proposal Development: Creating tailored proposals and presentations that highlight the company's value proposition and effectively address client needs.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Experience: 5 Year of progressive sales and business development experience, with a focus on the facilities services industry.
* Education: A Bachelor's degree in business management is preferred.
* Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are essential. Strategic thinking, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and proficiency in CRM systems are also important.
