Job Title: FCAWJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Flux Core Welder who can proficiently read and interpret shop blueprints and diagrams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to pass a 2G and 3G FCAW weld test and perform various welding tasks with precision and skill.ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret shop blueprints and diagrams accurately.Pass 2G and 3G FCAW weld tests.Perform layout, position, align, fit, clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind, or bolt component parts for welding.Weld in both vertical and horizontal positions.Handle materials using hand, overhead crane, forklift, or other handling equipment.Operate various types of welding equipment including gas tungsten arc, gas metal arc, flux-cored arc, plasma arc, and submerged arc welding.Essential SkillsProficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.Ability to pass 2G and 3G FCAW weld tests.Experience in welding in vertical and horizontal positions.Familiarity with stainless steel, Flux Core, FCAW, and fitting.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, crawling, pushing, pulling, reaching, climbing, and carrying materials.Why Work Here?Join a union environment that offers a competitive starting pay rate and four health plans through Highmark, along with dental and vision coverage. This is a union environment where seniority often determines shift. Expect to work at least 40 hours with some overtime opportunities. The dress code is standard for a welding environment. Pay is $30-35+/hr.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $63003.00 - $70000.00/yr.This is a Union environment that offers a high starting pay rate, and Four different health plans through Highmark.
