GPAC is partnering with a small but growing national  disease-specific healthcare advocacy and support organization headquartered in the Twin Cities to identify their next  Fund Development Manager.

Overview

The Fund Development Manager role is a key position focused on strategically and relationally engaging donors, foundations, corporations and other supporters to increase giving and the organization's impact. 

Key Responsibilities

• Drive, plan and execute an ongoing, comprehensive fundraising strategy that includes audience and segmentation strategy - a diverse and sustainable mix of foundations, high net worth individual donors, sponsorships and other contributed revenue sources
• Create a donor retention culture and work closely with Development Director in managing all stewardship and cultivation activities
• Support the development of a philanthropic culture through communications support and operationalizing regional fundraising initiatives
• Embrace a data-driven fundraising and engagement culture which includes utilizing CRM platform
• Generate regular fundraising reports including weekly and monthly trend analysis and fulfilling formal reporting requirements with clear and accurate analysis
• Liaise with the finance and administrative teams to ensure all funds raised are stewarded appropriately
• Collaborate internally with marketing team to develop and disseminate all fundraising collateral, such as thank you letters, annual reports, appeals, etc.

Role Requirements

• Knowledge and hands-on experience building donor acquisition and retention programs
• Success in developing and managing multi-year fundraising campaigns from concept to delivery
• Knowledge / experience of national, regional and local fundraising landscape
• At least 3 years of fundraising experience, running multi-segment revenue programs
• Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) certification will be preferred
• Experience using fund development databases / Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform(s)

Location & Travel: This is a remote position with multiple collaborative meetings in Minneapolis during the year.
