Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic with a minimum of 3 years’ experience to maintain and repair diesel and gas-powered trucks, trailers, hydraulic cranes, drilling rig engines, forklifts, and other mechanized equipment. You will be a key team member responsible for diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems to ensure safe and efficient operations. EPA, DOT, and OSHA knowledge is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Rebuild, maintain, and repair diesel and gasoline trucks, trailers, hydraulic cranes, drilling rig engines, mud pumps, rotary tables, backhoes, forklifts, and other heavy equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using precision instruments and diagnostic tools (e.g., micrometers, dial indicators, multimeters).
• Troubleshoot and perform failure analysis on component parts and systems.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, EPA, and OSHA regulations.
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes as needed to position equipment for repair.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and parts usage.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a diesel mechanic with heavy equipment, trucks, or industrial machinery.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency with hand tools, diagnostic instruments, and welding/fabrication is a plus.
• Knowledge of transmissions, air brake systems, suspension, and HVAC systems.
• Dealership or rig maintenance experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work safely in a warehouse or job site environment.
• EPA or OSHA certifications beneficial.
