Internal Auditor job at Experis Riverside, IA, US

Job Description

Experis, a division of ManpowerGroup, is working within the gambling & gaming industry . Looking for an Internal Auditor (2 Openings) in Riverside and/or Davenport, IA . The right candidate would be able to work independently, self-starter, demonstrated history of reliability, and efficient communication skills, ability to remain professional, straightforward, and display interpersonal skills, creating strong working relationships with various departments and leadership.
This is a direct hire/permanent opportunity. Salary range based on experience, position is open to various levels of experience. Fully onsite, Monday thru Friday, normal business hours, occasional travel (up to 6-HRs radius) to other locations.

Key Responsibilities:

Complete audits of casino and hotel functions, processes, internal controls, accounts, records, and other activities to ensure reliability and integrity of information
Determine scope of audits, methods of evaluation, prepare reports, and recommend corrective action to resolve issues discovered during the audit process
Respond to ad hoc requests to address control issues, maintain technical proficiency with GAAP, auditing standards, trends, and best business practices
Develop coordinating annual audit plans, risk assessments, and internal performance

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related and/or equivalent experience
Experience in audit or regulatory compliance for operations
Communication, Reliability, and Professional demeanor
CPA, CIA, or CFE preferred
Ability to maintain discretion in handling confidential information
Advanced Microsoft Office, financial, and reporting systems knowledge
