IT Scrum Master
The Opportunity:

As a Scrum master, you're passionate about outcomes and supporting a development team that's modernizing critical IT projects for the Special Operations Community. You know the importance of Agile best practices and how to combat challenges early to get work done. We need a seasoned scrum master like you to create solutions that'll enhance mission requirements.

On our team, you'll coach a development team to achieve its highest performance level, while ensuring the scrum project is successfully progressed. You'll work on unusually complex problems, introduce leading-edge concepts, and provide highly innovative solutions to your team and key stakeholders. Using tools like JIRA, Confluence, Tableau, Excel, and Mural, you'll strengthen sustainable process improvements to help your team accomplish effective OKR planning and closeouts, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

In this role, you'll guide and mentor your colleagues to directly impact the SOF community by delivering highly complex IT solutions at enterprise scale.

You Have:
    \n
  • 5+ years of experience with Agile, Lean, and Scrum practices, including OKR mapping, planning, execution, sprint planning, retrospectives, and requirements gathering
  • \n
  • Experience teaching teams the basic agile framework concepts
  • \n
  • Experience de-conflicting sprint goals and requirements as necessary
  • \n
  • Experience prioritizing, leading, and coordinating tasks across multiple teams and distinct workstreams to accelerate delivery of milestones and feature releases
  • \n
  • Experience with Atlassian suite, including JIRA and Confluence
  • \n
  • Experience with digital collaboration and whiteboarding platforms like MIRO and Mural
  • \n
  • Experience with data manipulation, visualization, and observability tools, including Power BI, Tableau, and Microsoft Excel
  • \n
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • \n
  • HS diploma or GED
  • \n
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification, such as Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GSEC, SSCP, CySA+ Certification
  • \n

  • Knowledge of DoD Risk Management Framework

  • Knowledge of ServiceNow, Kanban, Scaled Agile, and Scrum frameworks

  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and adapt to shifting priorities

  • Possession of strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Agile Certifications, such as ICAgile Certified Professional, Certified Scrum Master, PMI-ACP, or SAFe Program Consultant Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
