Express Employment is currently looking for a Material Control Specialist for our client in Easthampton, MA

• $18-22/hr
• Full Time
• Long Term
• Day Shift Monday-Friday

Job Details:

• Accurately controls and tracks physical inventory according to SOPs.
• Issues purchase requisitions based on inventory levels.
• Participates in inventory process and daily audits; researches and resolves inventory discrepancies.
• Maintains and manages accurate records of quantity, type, and/or supplies stocked.
• Maintains and inventory database.
• Receives, locates, and transfers materials accurately and in a timely manner based on WIP list and in accordance with SOPs.
• Inspects all incoming critical materials per associated procedures and requirements, processing all accompanying paperwork.
• Identifies damaged products and follows appropriate process to quarantine/return items.

Job Requirements:

• One to two years related experience or equivalent.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing.
• Acute attention to detail
• Proficient on Microsoft Office, Excel, Access, Word
• Must have experience with Micrometers and Calipers
