This role involves external facing responsibilities and requires being a trusted resource throughout the sales process, from prospective clients (Request for Proposals - RFP) to sold business. Key functions include collaborating with presale, underwriting, and brokers to ensure timely and accurate processing of documents, information, and tasks. The role demands the ability to work independently under tight deadlines, prioritize workload, and build internal and external relationships. Additional Notes Please note: This is a flex role, requiring the incumbent to work from a local Cigna office as needed. The candidate will be based in Franklin, TN, and is expected to be in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and one additional day of choice (Monday-Friday). Responsibilities Act as a key resource for designated new business managers, brokers, clients, and internal partners from RFP to post-sale implementation and client onboarding. Coordinate and process end-to-end new business transactions and documentation across all product lines, ensuring compliance and successful implementation. Maintain professional communication with internal and external partners, proactively resolving missing or incomplete information to keep transactions moving accurately and timely. Collaborate with presale, Underwriting, Product, Health Engagement, Compliance, Service Operations, and the Commission team as needed. Communicate renewal updates, downstream risks, and notifications for renewing clients. Track and report on the status and deliverables of assigned business accounts. Assist in creating Finalist Presentation materials with the New Business Manager. Follow standard operating procedures to ensure compliance, timeliness, and quality in the new business process. Utilize web-based resources to review benefits for regulatory compliance and product standards. Update SFDC with opportunity data and participate in related projects and initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor's or Associate’s degree in a related field preferred, or at least one year of relevant experience. Experience in sales operations, presale, or benefit services is preferred. Experience working with matrix partners and external customers is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work. Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills. Proficiency with systems such as Excel, Word, Outlook, SFDC. Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Basic knowledge of insurance products, procedures, and sales support systems is desirable. Note: For remote work, internet connection must be via cable broadband or fiber optic with at least 10Mbps download and 5Mbps upload speeds.
