Responsibilities

Performs support services, including but limited to, driving operation of employee shuttle bus to and from employee parking areas off campus. Hand carry, transport and delivery of mail, medical, equipment, court documents and other transports off site i.e. Doctors’ offices, patient place of residence, state or local government agencies. Operates the parking booth control station. Handles cash and provide directions to Doctor’s office and other outpatient departments of care with the Hospital. Follows guidelines and perpetual monitoring techniques to establish a safe workplace for employees and a safe environment of care. Works with the Environment of Care committee to ensure a multi-disciplinary approach to security and safety. Participates in employee awareness and education. Driving as needed for company business.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

1. Experience in Healthcare security or related field preferred
2. State Guard Certification Registration Card
3. High School Diploma or Equivalent required

Saint Michaels Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. Our Total Rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many more voluntary benefit options. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $15.49 to $21.00. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
