Project Manager/ Operations Manager – Cubiscan Operations

Rockford, IL – Onsite role | Local candidates only

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager – Cubiscan Operations to lead our dimensioning and data entry team in Rockford, IL. This role is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of all Cubiscan inventory dimensioning activities, overseeing a team of Cubiscan Operators—including interns and early-career employees—to ensure operational excellence, data accuracy, and continuous process improvement. This position may also support broader administrative and cross-functional projects beyond warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Cubiscan Operators in a dynamic, high-turnover environment.
• Manage the Cubiscan dimensioning program including planning, resource allocation, and monitoring performance metrics.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance in capturing and entering dimensional data per SOPs and safety standards.
• Drive process improvements and conduct audits to optimize efficiency and reduce errors.
• Collaborate with inventory, warehouse, and leadership teams to align on goals and resolve challenges.
• Maintain project timelines, reports, and stakeholder communications to ensure successful execution.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in warehouse, logistics, or operations environments.
• Previous project management, team leadership, or intern coordination experience is a plus.
• Strong emotional intelligence with proven ability to motivate and lead diverse teams.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; quick learner of new software tools.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Capable of standing, walking, and moving throughout the shift.
• Comfortable climbing ladders up to 16 feet as needed.
• Able to work in a warehouse environment with variable conditions.

Work Schedule:

• Full-time, onsite role.
• Flexibility to work adjusted hours, overtime, weekends, or multi-shifts as operational demands require.
