Overview InData Labs is looking for an experienced Backend Engineer to join our team working on a new AI‑powered analytics product in the trading and quantitative finance domain. It’s a challenging, highly technical project that combines AI reasoning, real‑time market data, and high‑performance backend architecture. You will work closely with a senior engineer focused on AI logic and quantitative models, while fully owning the backend foundation—from database design to data pipelines and system performance. Responsibilities Build and optimize PostgreSQL / TimescaleDB for time‑series data. Develop FastAPI backend services. Design data ingestion and async job pipelines (Celery / RabbitMQ / Redis). Manage system monitoring, performance, and reliability. Work with NumPy, Numba, and other tools for speed and scalability. Qualifications 4+ years of Python backend experience. Design efficient database schemas. Understand async programming and distributed systems. Care about performance, structure, and clean code.
