Restaurant Manager | Fine Dining

Location: San Francisco, CA

Compensation: $75,000 - $85,000 annually + bonus eligibility


Overview

We are seeking an experienced and charismatic Restaurant Manager to join the leadership team of a distinguished fine dining restaurant in San Francisco. This role is central to delivering exceptional hospitality, overseeing front-of-house operations, and ensuring seamless service in a high-volume, luxury environment.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a passion for guest experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to inspire and train FOH staff to consistently deliver excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager and Assistant General Manager in managing daily operations of a fine dining restaurant.
• Lead by example to guide, empower, and motivate FOH staff, maintaining a visible and engaged presence on the floor during service.
• Manage scheduling, task delegation, and operational follow-up to ensure smooth execution.
• Maintain a fast-paced environment with poise, professionalism, and exemplary hospitality.
• Train and uphold restaurant policies, service standards, and best practices.
• Ensure consistently outstanding guest experiences.
• Support operational efficiency and collaboration between FOH and BOH leadership.

Ideal Experience

• Minimum 2+ years of Dining Room Management experience in upscale or fine dining restaurants.
• Proven success managing FOH teams in high-volume settings.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and train teams.
• Skilled at problem-solving and quick decision-making under pressure.
• A track record of delivering exceptional guest service in luxury hospitality environments.
