Job Description :

As a Hair Salon Receptionist at Beautiful Freedom Natural Hair Studio, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients have a seamless and enjoyable experience from the moment they walk in. You will be responsible for managing the front desk, handling appointments, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities :

- Client Greeting : Welcome clients with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued.

- Appointment Management : Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments using our booking system, efficiently coordinating stylist schedules.

- Customer Service : Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about salon services, pricing, and promotions.

- Point of Sale : Process payments, handle cash transactions, and manage the register accurately.

- Salon Coordination : Assist in maintaining a clean and organized reception area and ensure the overall salon environment is welcoming.

- Product Sales : Promote and sell salon products, understanding client needs, and recommending appropriate products.

- Client Records : Maintain and update client records, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.

- Support Team : Assist stylists and other team members with administrative tasks as needed, fostering a collaborative environment.

- Conflict Resolution : Address and resolve any client concerns or complaints with professionalism and empathy.

Qualifications :

- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role, preferably in a salon or spa setting.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Proficiency with salon booking software or willingness to learn.

- Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.

- Professional appearance and demeanor.

- Basic knowledge of hair and beauty products/services is a plus.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
