Presbyterian Village North is hiring experienced, motivated Full-Time Level II Security Officers; available for overnight 3rd shift; 9:30 pm - 6:00 am.Valid Texas drivers license & current Guard Card are required.Be a part of a strong, responsible and very dependable team of protection - residents and teammates are like family.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
\tModels a service attitude towards others, takes ownership in solving problems and takes the initiative to make things better
\tIs friendly and courteous to residents, patients and co-workers
\tEnsure resident/patient, visitor, and co-worker safety by remaining aware of and reporting any new or existing safety hazards
\tMaintain good attendance record
\tPatrol grounds as a Non-Commissioned Officer to ensure no one is on the property without permission Patrol includes: walking, driving golf carts and/or driving security vehicle
\tStays in contact with walkie-talkie with Guest Relations and other personnel to ensure safety of property
\tReacts to 911 calls to meet ambulance or fire department at the front gate and escort them to the appropriate building
\tAssists residents who need special care to navigate the property via walking or driving\tOther duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
\tHigh school diploma or equivalent
\tAbility of passing an FBI background investigation to facilitate licensing by the Texas Department of Public Safety, Private Security Bureau Ability to provide a valid Texas Drivers License; no ID cards
\tPrevious experience with security/or other building services required Guard Card required by hire date.\tAbility to communicate with the senior population, other staff members, and visitors in a respectful manner\tAbility to effectively resolve problems
\tAbility to gain trust of the resident population
\tAbility to react quickly to unknown circumstances and remain calm
\tAbility to perform Essential Duties
\tAbility to perform work tasks within the Physical Demand Requirements\tAbility to comply with the Resident Bill of Rights and Employee Responsibilities
\tAbility to comply with organizational and departmental safety policies and procedures
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language
Ability to adjust to changes in shift schedule Genuine caring for and interest in the care of mature adults, persons with disabilities and hospice patients
