Senior Data Center & BI Business Analyst - Remote

3-6 month project. Here is the brief overview of the project.

BA with strong understanding of Data Center industry & BI Business Model as the client runs and is building several more Data Centers.

Need to have excellent comm skills and be able to communicate with business execs around the requirements and metrics that they want to see and have analyzed. PowerBI Development skills for a part time role 15-20 hours/week

- Business Analyst experience with Data Center Projects

- Experience in the Data Center Construction Business a huge plus

- Financial Experience with sharp Excel skills for modeling data sets

- Experience working with Data Developers to produce dashboards and KPI charts

- Ability to define key KPIs by working with the business

- Ability to model disparate data sets in Excel to demonstrate a KPI

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Work remotely during CST hours

Job Description:

The client is seeking a talented and experienced Analyst with Data Center understanding with some BI experience and background to join our growing IT team in a part-time role. An understanding of Azure & BI would be good, you will play a key role in working with the business and gathering the requirements for the KPI's around the business to better understand via business intelligence solutions how projects building new date centers are progressing. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design data models, and implement BI solutions that provide actionable insights to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  
• Design and implement data integration processes to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various source systems into the data warehouse.
  
• understanding of SQL queries, stored procedures, and data pipelines to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing.
  
• Havibng worked with data visualizations and reports using Power BI or other BI tools to present insights to business users.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  
• Experience working with Data Center clients previously helping gather REQS and KPI's for BI Developers and/or Data Engineers to deliver reporting
  
• Experience with SQL and working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Azure SQL Database)..
  
• Understanding of data warehouses and dimensional data models.
  
• Proficiency in gathering KPI's for data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
