At a Glance:

Calling all fitness and technology enthusiasts! Now hiring an engaging, positive, and professional Brand Ambassador who is passionate and knowledgeable about fitness and tech to represent Soundcore at the Fargo Marathon Expo in Moorhead, MN. I n this role, youll greet and usher event attendees, share key messages, and provide demos of our clients cutting-edge Soundcore headphones and earbuds.

Overview:

WHEN & WHERE

• Fargo Marathon Expo | Concordia College Memorial Auditorium - 1117 7th St. S Moorhead, MN 56560
• Thursday, May 30 - 3pm-7pm & Friday, May 31 - 12pm-6:30pm
• A paid virtual training will take place the week of the events date/time TBD
• Applicants must be available for all event dates/times and be comfortable working outdoors for the entirety of the event

WHAT YOULL DO

• Provide a memorable and best-in-class experience for event attendees through greeting and directing attendees, line management, assembling and handing out promotional items, answering questions, and sharing key messages.
• Track interactions and/or attendees as requested.
• Assist in light set-up, staging, and maintaining the cleanliness of the event space as needed.
• Represent the Client in a positive and professional demeanor.
• Other duties as assigned by management & client

WHAT YOU NEED

Experience and Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience in customer service and/or event work
• Passion for and knowledge of fitness and/or running
• Proficiency in technology and product demos

Skills and Attributes:

• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Engaging personality; comfortable consistently initiating and maintaining conversations with a diverse audience.
• Results- and detail-oriented.
• Organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Able to show patience when communicating with team members, the client, and event attendees.
• Able to work well in a team environment.
• Able to exhibit a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
• Able to stand and work outdoors for the entirety of the event shift.

While performing the duties of this job, employees are required to:

• Regularly talk, sit, stand, walk, and bend over, repetitive use of hands/arms, repetitive use of legs and grasp
• Able to consistently remain on feet for long periods (5+ hours)
• Frequently lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
• Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Continuous hand/eye coordination and fine manipulation
