Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a valid Kansas SLP license to provide support within an elementary school setting. This contract role spans the 2025-2026 school year with an immediate start, continuing through May 20, 2026.

Location Options:
Candidates can work onsite at one of two school districts: Emporia, KS, or Council Grove, KS. Please indicate your current residence when applying.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language services to elementary students, supporting communication and learning needs.
  • Manage caseloads varying from approximately 10-12 students one day per week to 50-55 students across a five-day week.
  • Collaborate with educators and staff to develop individualized plans and progress monitoring.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district and state guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid Kansas SLP license (CCC preferred).
  • Experience working within school settings, ideally with elementary-aged children.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, full-time or part-time, based on mutual agreement.
  • Onsite availability is required for this role.
