Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide support at an elementary school serving students from PreK through 5th grade. This role involves working on-site two days per week, approximately 15 hours weekly, sharing a caseload of 70-75 students, with direct responsibility for 40-50 students.

Location: Tavares, FL
Setting: Elementary School
Duration: Contract through the current school year (ASAP to May 29, 2026)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to PreK-5 students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with school staff, parents, and other professionals to support students communication development.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports consistent with school and state requirements.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Current Professional Speech Language Pathology license with Florida Department of Health.
  • Experience working in a school setting preferred; caseload management skills are essential.
  • Ability to work onsite two days per week in a focused, collaborative role.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills to support a diverse student population.
