Test Technician | $24-30 per hour |3:30pm-2:00am Monday through Thursday; 2:30pm-12:00 every other Friday or 10:30pm-8:00am Sunday through Wednesday; 10:30pm-7:00am every other Thursday / Direct Hire

Job Description

The Test Technician is will test, troubleshoot, repair and modify developmental and production electronic components.

Responsibilities:

• Test electronic units, using standard test equipment, and analyzing results to evaluate performance and determine need for adjustment
• Perform preventive maintenance and calibration of equipment and systems
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and determine when and what kind of maintenance is needed
• Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, and engineering instructions for assembling electronic units, applying knowledge of electronics theory and components
• Maintain system logs and manuals to document testing and operation of equipment

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Associate’s degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering
• 3+ years of related work experience
• Demonstrated ability to operate test systems, test equipment, computer systems and trouble shoot.
• Demonstrated ability utilizing test software and platforms.
• Ability to use a wide variety of hand tools, measuring devices, lab standards, and test equipment
• Must be able to train on 1st shift

The base salary range for this position is $24-30 per hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
