Join our innovative team as a Senior Weld Engineer in Catoosa, OK! We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Senior Weld Engineer to lead our engineering projects and teams. This role requires expertise in ASME BPVC Sections VIII and IX, AWS D1.1 standards, and a solid understanding of materials engineering and welding metallurgy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welding Procedures: Develop and implement new welding procedures and methods.
  
• Liaison Role: Serve as a liaison between engineering and welding teams, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  
• WPS Management: Manage and assign Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) for various projects.
  
• Certification Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and coordination of Pressure Equipment Directive Certification.
  
• Root Cause Analysis: Lead root cause investigations and provide expert recommendations for inspection and corrective actions.
  
• Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional development activities to stay abreast of industry advancements.
  

Requirements

• Education: BS in Engineering preferred; a minimum of 1 year post-high school education in welding required.
• Certifications: AWS (CWI, CWEng, SCWI); CWB (Certified Welding Supervisor, Certified Welding Engineer); API (510, 570, 653).
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of welding metallurgy and heat treatment.
  • Proven ability to perform strength calculations and develop welding procedures that meet ASME code.
• Experience: Demonstrated expertise in ASME BPVC Sections VIII and IX, AWS D1.1 standards.
