Overview Job Title: Work Study Homeland Security & Criminal Justice Location: Alpine Department: Criminal Justice Job No.: SF9906 Posting Date: 01/23/2025 Until Filled: No Salary: $9.25 per hour Requirements Education: Currently attending SRSU; graduate student standing with 2.75 GPA Equipment/Skills: Proficient in computer skills including Excel and word processing Eligibility: Must be eligible for Federal Work Study funding Preferred Experience with technology applications; some knowledge of the related discipline Primary Responsibilities Performs varied tasks relating to data collection and reports; provides skilled secretarial assistance; assist students. Assist department chair, administrative assistant and students with program needs; greet and assist walk-in students; hold 15 office hours per week (flexible schedule). Other duties including but not limited to: research, compiling data, creating graphs and charts related to department needs. All other duties as assigned unique to the department; responsible for personal safety and the safety of others; this position is security sensitive. The report also contains fire statistics for any fires occurring in an On-Campus Student Housing Facility during the three most recent calendar years.
