Summit Reconstruction & Restoration is a rapidly growing reconstruction and restoration company with a focus on quality of work and exceptional customer service. Our company is a leader in apartment and condominium rehabilitation and repairs, with many of the largest management companies in Portland/Vancouver area.

We are currently hiring a Skilled Carpenter for exterior work within the Portland Metro/Vancouver area. This is a full-time, 40 hours per week position with occasional overtime. Pay starting at $28 - $35 per hour DOE.

Skilled Carpenter Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of carpentry work which could include framing, siding & trim installation, window installation, decks, detailed flashing, dry rot, rain screens, subfloor and cabinet rebuilds.
• Accurately read & interpret plan specifications; ensure proper selection and installation of materials.
• Perform work on reconstruction projects (i.e. exterior siding, painting, WRB installation, finish carpentry, etc.)
• Responsible for making sound decisions; ability to work independently.
• Ability to effectively communicate with clients/customers & coworkers; cooperative and team-oriented individual.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Demonstrated experience as a Skilled Carpenter. Open to the following levels of experience:
  • Entry Level 2-5 years
  • Mid-Level 5-10 years

• Ability to inspect, repair, install, modify, rebuild, construct, and maintain carpentry services.
• Be willing and able to have reliable transportation to travel to multiple job sites in and around the Portland/Vancouver area. Must have your own basic tools.
• Capable of working effectively amongst diverse teams and manage multiple tasks at once.
