U.S. citizenship is required. This role is part of the Student Intern Program, a CIVILIAN position with the Department of the Army. The Student Intern Program offers post-secondary students 12 weeks of full-time employment, up to 480 hours, during the summer months. Employment dates vary; earliest start is end of May. Actual length depends on budget and workload. Employment continues each subsequent summer while the student is enrolled. In this role you will Work under close supervision performing assignments and completing training. Provide direct support to the management analysis function for production management programs. Assist with management studies of organizations, procedures, and functions. Prepare reports and compile data for higher management analysts. Analyze programs to resolve problems and determine applicable compliance requirements. Qualifications *Must be a US Citizen Who may apply: Post-Secondary Student definition: (1) currently enrolled full-time in good academic standing at institution of higher education; (2) making satisfactory progress toward a baccalaureate or graduate degree; (3) completed at least one year of the program. Education requirements: GS-03 students must complete 1 academic year of post-high school study by December 2024. GS-04 students must complete 2 academic years or associate’s degree by December 2024.
